Can I substitute honey for sugar in baked goods?

Substituting Honey

To substitute honey for sugar in a recipe, use 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon of honey for each cup of sugar, and reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe by 2 tablespoons.

If the recipe doesn't use sour cream or buttermilk, also add a pinch of baking soda to reduce acidity that honey adds to baked products.
