1 pint strawberries or raspberries
1/3 cup sugar
4 cups vanilla yogurt
Mash berries with sugar in large bowl and stir in yogurt. Freeze in 2 quart freezer according to manufacturer's directions.

When I run out of fresh/frozen berries, I use natural berry powders instead. I always keep a few packs in the cabinet. The Scandinavian ones are the healthiest, wild non-sprayed berries with no chemicals or other additives. For a smoothie, just add some ice.
