Tip of the Week

This crust can be used for any pie. Itīs very simple and has a wonderful flavor and texture.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
1-1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda


Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add remaining ingredients until crumbs form. Press crumbs against bottom and sides of 9" pie plate, building up a 1/2" rim. Fill with desired filling and bake as directed in pie recipe.
