Tip of the Week

1 cup cake flour = 1 cup minus 2 tablespoons regular flour.
1 cup cake flour = 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour plus 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
1 teaspoon baking powder = 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar plus 1/4 teaspoon baking soda.
1 cup honey/corn syrup = 1 1/4 cups sugar plus 1/4 cup liquid
1 cup buttermilk = 1 tablespoon lemon juice/vinegar plus milk to make up one cup. Let stand five minutes before using.
1 cup light cream = 1 Tablespoon melted butter plus milk to make one cup.
