When I bake in glass pans, everything gets too brown. Why?

Turn down the heat!

If you are using glass pans for baking, reduce the oven temperature by 25 degrees. Glass conducts heat better than metal so products baked in glass pans have a tendency to overcook.

i've found when i bake bread in my glass loaf pan that i have increased the baking time by 10 minutes. the recipe i use is cut down by 3/4 as it is originally a bosch mixer and makes loves at a time, i believe, where as i just make one in my kitchen aid mixer. i don't know, maybe my loaf comes out just a bit bigger than originally recipe. i don't alter the baking temperature.
